We’re at al the end of the Qualified for Value series, can you believe it?!
We’ve spent 10 weeks walking through the applied aspects of Value creation, connecting them to practical every day things you can start doing in your enterprise.
But if you were to try and reference it in a single succinct way, how would you? Well, here’s a roadmap to help you!
Start with understanding (YOUR) Value
Get an understanding of what Value is to begin with.

Get clear on the Value you have to offer
Create a solid Value Proposition that communicates the Value you have to give
Tidy up your Value offering: make sure what you’re selling and the Value you’re promising actually line up!
Start looking for ways to create Value for your clients
Dig through your internal workings for things that, if improved, would create extra Value for your clients
Uncover opportunities in your external environment that you can leverage to create even more Value
Follow with a clear plan for Value creation
Make an actual plan for creating Value
Figure out exactly how you’ll use the Value opportunities you’ve uncovered
Make sure you allocate resources effectively, and don’t make your plan so big it overwhelms you!
Bring your plan right down into your day-to-day
Your plan needs actionable steps that actually connect in some way to the things you do on a day to day
See how you can start including actions to your processes that speak to Value creation; start small and grow as you go
Keep the tactics and tools you use updated
Keep track of your execution, and be sure to review every so often to make sure the work you’re doing is actually creating Value
Make sure whatever tools you’re using in your enterprise aren’t competing with the Value you’re creating
Keep the momentum up on whatever strategies you build
Weave the new strategies into the day-to-day in a way that make sense, so your teams don’t start back-sliding on them!
Get your teams up to speed on the Value they’re creating via their work; your Value offering is delivered by them after all
Finish with the Value THEY want
Get clear on the Value your targets are looking for
Understand what your target clients, investors and stakeholders would be looking to gain from an offering like yours (their Value needs)
Position your Value offering
Using that understanding, align and position your offering as the solution to their Value needs
Where there’s gaps between your Value offering and their needs, see if you can fill the gaps
